Hi, My Name is Sofia!
From Guatemala to Germany, my path has been anything but ordinary.
Since I moved to Germany some years ago, I embarked on a new life adventure, facing challenges that tested my resilience, adaptability, and determination.
At the beginning of my journey, the first years were really difficult. Learning and immersing myself in a new culture, a new language and navigating the complexities of starting anew taught me invaluable lessons in patience, kindness, possibility and the power of community.
As a solopreneur with a robust background in business and a specialization in Digital Marketing, I founded Her Marketing by Design to empower female entrepreneurs like you to navigate the complex online world of marketing with confidence, clarity, and success.
My Philosophy
I believe that "everything is possible." We are all in perfect timing to create amazing things for ourselves—if we dare to do it.

Some fun things to know about me:
Morning Routine: I love starting my day with a calm morning routine that includes meditation, journaling, and enjoying my coffee—especially on sunny days. A bit of sun and some time with my husband and my dog in the garden sets the perfect tone for my day.
Hosting parties at home: Cooking is not just a hobby for me; it's a way to connect and share joy. My friends always look forward to meeting at my place where there's always plenty to enjoy.
Outdoor Adventures: Whenever possible, I'm off hiking with my husband and Sammy, our dog. We love exploring impressive mountain ranges like the Dolomites (below pic), where the beauty of nature really shines through. We live in the south of Germany, so we have plenty to explore in our own corner of the world.
Reader and Learner: I love to read, constantly seeking new knowledge (maybe too much? Who knows haha). Currently, I’m delving into how behavioral science can enhance marketing—always aiming to bring fresh insights into my work.
Love love love food: I'm passionate about food, from avocados and strawberries to indulging in pizza, pasta, and desserts. Ending a long week with a delicious dinner and dessert is my ideal treat.
Animal people are my people: Animals have a special place in my heart. My Sammy has been my company for many years, and I believe we have healed each other. Whether it’s hiking in nature or simply enjoying the company of my dog, I find that sharing a love for animals creates an instant connection.
